Worthy of a longer life than that of the weekly journal (the Living Church) in which they first appeared; but the judgment of people to whom he ought to defer, and the urgent letters from many strangers decided him to put them in this little book. They are not very deep, nor are they very wise, but they give answers to many questions which present themselves to many people. He hopes they may meet with the approval of his fellow Churchmen, and that they may do some little good.
