For almost three years Miss Ackerman gave untiring efforts toward the uplift of mankind at Red Bank. And near the close of the third year, she secured a position in the Training Department of the East Stroudsburg Normal School. In 1902. Miss Mansfield. A critic teacher at. Indiana. Was given a leave of absence for one year and Miss Ackerman was asked to fill the vacancy. The follow ing year she taught Geography and United States History in the Normal Department.
