The committee then proceeded to the banking house and were met by Dr. G. W. Goldsborough one of the directors of said banlr, who on the part of the board of directors of said institution, stated to the committee that the board of directors protested against the right of the committee to éxamihe into the affairs of the bank, but at the same time invited them to make a full examination into the condition of the Institution.
