En effet, dès son arrivée à Hyères elle put raisonnable ment concevoir quelques espérances; deux jeunes gens habitaient le rez - de-chaussée de la maison dont elle avait loué le second étage deux jeunes gens de Paris, un peu originaux un peu sauvages, au dire de ces demoiselles, mais de si bon air, de si belles manières, qu'on pourrait leur passer quelques défauts.
