In the form of subacute nephritis, and in that form where the kidney is large and white, dropsy is very com mon. Being absent in only eight or ten per cent.
In the interstitial form dropsy is much less common. In the early stages of the form it is generally absent, in fact almost never occurs, but later on it may appear - and this usually from cardiac failure.
