Christy is young, beautiful, and desired by men. Her last day at school has her considering her options: work in her mother's hairsalon, or something more lucrative, more varied,and - maybe - more fun. And lapdancing, as Christy soon finds out, is something she is good at. But as the men swarm before her and the dollar bills come her way, Christy finds herself on a drug-fuelled path and spiralling out of control.
Told from Christy's darkly humorous viewpoint, Vicious Spring explores the power and vulnerability involved in sexual exchange and exposes an undercurrent of the seductiveness of death and, ultimately, of love.
