There is a neat p.o. gift inscription (see photo) on the half-title page, the interior is otherwise clean, unmarked and appears unread. The unclipped dustjacket shows the original £12.99 price with no chips, tears, creases or other defects. Conlon's 1990 autobiography details his wrongful conviction for the 1974 IRA Guildford pub bombings. He exposes how British police used torture and fabricated evidence to secure life sentences against him and three others, resulting in 15 years in prison before their eventual exoneration in 1989.
