Review

Excellent intro to the subject, particularly useful in linking film cutting, tape editing and digital nonlinear production.

Good coverage of subject - videotape editing - prod needs to decide how to handle non-linear postproduction. Many academic acilities lack time code systems, but are moving toward digital editing. (But I'm sure you're thinking about this already.)

"it covers technical material in a manner that is easy for an entry level student to comprehend"
