About the Author

Dr Kat Arney is a writer, broadcaster and public speaker, appearing on the highly successful Naked Scientists for the past decade and producing and presenting the monthly Naked Genetics. She also co-presents the weekly national BBC Radio 5Live Science show. According to BBC America she is one of the "Top Ten Brits who make science sexy". Kat's last book was Herding Hemingway's Cats: Understanding How Our Genes Work. She holds a PhD in developmental biology from Cambridge University.
