Shauna Shames (PhD, Harvard) is Assistant Professor of Political Science at Rutgers University, Camden. Her publications include Out of the Running: Why Millennials Reject Political Careers and Why It Matters (NYU Press, 2017).

Amy L. Atchison (PhD, University of Tennessee) is Associate Professor of Political Science & International Relations at Valpraiso University. Her articles have appeared in journals such as PS: Political Science & Politics, Politics & Gender, and Politics, Groups, and Identities.
