About the Author

Written by: Jennifer Bixby holds an M.A. in TESOL from Boston University. She has been an ELT teacher in Colombia, Japan, and the U.S. in a wide variety of programs. An experienced ELT writer, editor, and published author, her main interests are in teaching reading and writing. Jaimie Scanlon is a freelance ELT materials writer, editor, and teacher training consultant based in Brattleboro, Vermont. She has taught learners of all ages and has trained teachers in Asia, Eastern Europe and the US. She has presented at numerous international conferences on topics including issues in teaching reading, teacher motivation and collaboration, and teaching intercultural competence.
