Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. True first British printing with original unclipped jacket (£2.25). With drawings by the author. Jacket has minor patchy edge/shelf wear, a few small marks/spots of foxing, minor patchy creasing/rubbing to edges, minor pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine and to corners, little patchy browning/minor foxing/odd small mark to reverse (white side), very minor fading to spine and a little patchy browning/minor foxing/few small marks to front/back inner flaps. Boards are near fine (having been well protected by the jacket) with a hint of pushing to corners and minor pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. Top edge of pages dyed pink have the odd small mark/spots of foxing. Pages little tanned. Previous owner's name, date and location in pen to front end-paper. Odd small mark/minor foxing to page edges and bottoms. End-papers bit tanned with the odd small mark/minor foxing. Occasional small marks/spots of foxing to pages. No other faults.
