He has authored or co-authored over 300 papers/reports and seven books mostly in the Ada or real-time area, and is chair of the IEEE Technical Committee on Real-Time Systems (2001-2003). Andy Wellings is Professor of Real-Time Systems and is the author of over 200 papers/reports and several books, as well as being European Editor-in-Chief for the journal Software Practice and Experience.
