The authors have gathered together threshold values and have used a systematic approach to standardization. A list of the literature references cited is included, as is a short explanation of the mathematical methods used by the authors. The bulk of the book, however, is taken up by a table giving threshold values. The book provides a reference source for scientists working in academic and industrial chemoreception, zoology, food science, government health regulation and others for whom it is important to measure of air-borne chemicals.
