Review

Review from previous edition From large organisations seeking to develop open innovation as a capability through to universities and IP organisations seeking to act as catalysts for open innovation and then onto networks to enable the connections, this is a thorough review of most of the drivers on the topic. Linking current practice to innovation research, this shows what is new, what is not and provides theoretical frameworks for the use and limitations of open innovation. Although clearly written for the academic community, this is a useful source of reference for many of those in multiple organisations seeking to take advantage of open innovation opportunities. (Innovation Update)

This book not only provides an excellent state of the art on open innovation, it also makes a commendable effort in expanding its application domain... I therefore would like to recommend this book to all academics, practitioners and policy makers that are engaged in innovation management in general and open innovation in particular. (Creativity and Innovation Management)

'... this is a useful source of reference for many of those in multiple organisations seeking to take advantage of open innovation opportunities.' (Innovation Update)
