A personal and direct account of the major events in the life of Nelson Mandela, told from the perspective of a contemporary of Mandela's. The account is narrated to the storyteller's grandson, Andile. Written by broadsheet journalist and South African affairs specialist, Denis Herbstein, the book is full of fantastic full-colour photos and artwork.
