The Oxford First Dictionary, now with new text and artwork, is the authoritative dictionary for children in their first years at school. Each page is a colourful, clear and accessible, introduction to the elements of a dictionary: 1500 entries in alphabetical order, simple, easy-to-read meanings, parts of speech (noun or verb), plurals, and topical examples sentences to clarify meaning.
