Synopsis
This is the first set of non-fiction books within the fuzzbuzz scheme. Each book looks, in detail, at four British animals within a habitat - the house, farm, garden, sea-shore, dump and pond. The books use the controlled vocabulary of existing books at Levels 1 and 2, and extra vocabulary is taught through an accompanying workbook, Words for fuzzbuzz facts. fuzzbuzz facts provides a useful and effective introduction to non-fiction for children using the fuzzbuzz scheme. Each book has a contents and an index page, and additional teaching of the skills necessary for using information books is provided by a further workbook, Looking at books.
