It was composed about 1405 - 1410 by an unknown author, and addresses theological debates of the turbulent period of English church history with unusual directness and complexity. This copy is the first volume of a 3-volume set, containing the first half of the text of this classic document (that is, Volume 1, Part 1, not Part 2).
