Synopsis
Journey to the Stars is a thrilling voyage deep into our solar system and beyond. We begin by gazing at the stars, as humankind has throughout history. Then we dash to our imaginary rocket, the countdown begins, and blastoff! A deadening roar fills the air, and soon we break free of the Earth's atmosphere. We soar through the solar system, and astonishing NASA photographs give a detailed look at the surface of the Moon, from its huge craters to a single astronaut's footprint. On goes the journey to the planets of the universe, highlighting key terms in an included glossary, and beautiful photo imagery.

About the Author
Stuart Clark has a first class degree in astronomy and combines writing books and articles on space with teaching at the University of Hertfordshire. He also tours schools giving talks on popular topics such as the Apollo moon landings, big bang and the Hubble Space Telescope. He has made guest appearances on children's television and takes school parties round the observatory at the University of Hertfordshire.
