Synopsis
This research and reference tool examines the multitude of options involved in doing research and provides a clear guide to the way in which they may be categorized. Topics covered include subject headings and the card catalogue, the use of systematic browsing, subject headings and indexes to journal articles, key word searches, citation searches, review articles, published bibliographies, computer searches, locating materials in other libraries, reference sources and an appendix on special cases.
