Stephen J. Vodanovich is Professor Emeritus in the Psychology Department at the University of West Florida specializing in Industrial-Organizational Psychology. He is a coauthor of a previous text on EEO law and taught a graduate-level course on employment discrimination for over 20 years. His other research interests include the examination of the construct of boredom (and boredom proneness), ageism, and workaholism. He published or co-published over 70 articles. He has also taught courses, and consulted with various organizations, regarding human resource practices including personnel selection, test construction, job analysis, and performance management.
Deborah E. Rupp is Professor of Psychology at George Mason University, specializing in Industrial-Organizational Psychology. She conducts research on legal issues surrounding human resource management and equal employment opportunity; organizational justice, behavioral ethics, and corporate social responsibility; as well as issues surrounding testing and assessment by organizations. Rupp is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association, the Association for Psychological Science, and the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP). She has published six books and over 100 papers and chapters, and regularly teaches courses in personnel selection and EEO legal issues. Her research has been cited in U.S. Supreme Court proceedings, and she has consulted with myriad organizations around the world.
