About the Author
Antoine de Saint-Exupery nació en Lyon, Francia, en 1990. Fue aviador. Falleció en misión de guerra en 1994. Algunas de sus obras son: Vuelo nocturno, Correo del Sur, Piloto de guerra.
El Principito es una obra poética escrita en prosa. Forma y contenido tienen una unidad armónica, que surge de su inagotable y profunda poesía, de los sentimientos, del cariño de la ternura, del amor a la vida, a la naturaleza, a los seres humanos.
No nos proponemos un análisis estilístico, ni tampoco exhaustivo, de la total gama de sugerencias que Saint-Exupéry nos hace. Simplemente queremos presentar una obra de la que se pueden extraer profundas conclusiones. El hacerlo está en la sensibilidad del lector. Tampoco queremos imitarlo dando nosotros orientaciones demasiado precisas para su interpretación, lo que sería negar al autor. Sólo intentamos que quien lea se sienta, lo más pronto posible, dispuesto a seguirlo por su mundo de ensueño, que no está disociado del mundo de todos los días que el lector transita, sino que es una forma de observarlo, pensarlo, reflexionarlo.
