A new Kipper book is always a welcome addition to any toddler's bookshelf and Kipper's Toybox will charm and delight Mick Inkpen's current legion of fans as well as grabbing the imagination of new young readers. As Kipper tries to work out why there are more toys in his special box than there should be, toddlers are treated to an array of sharp, colourful and action-packed illustrations coupled with clear, easy to follow text that allows them to help Kipper unravel the mystery.

As ever, Mick Inkpen comes up with another winner as the darling Kipper enchants and entertains the book-hungry toddler. (Ages 2 to 5) -- Susan Harrison
