The King and I
Like Larry, with whom I wrote this book, I make no claim to be the most astute political observer. But our analysis of the importance of talk shows in the 1992 elections has stood up pretty well. The road to the White House in 1996 did not pass through as many talk shows as it did four years earlier. But the candidates in 2000 might learn something about how to connect with disconnected voters from the way the Bill Clinton and Ross Perot made use of talk shows in 1992. I've always enjoyed Larry's reading of this book, and we're grateful to Amazon.com for making it available online.
