Synopsis
In the final part of this serial novel, Dawn and Rory continue to battle against the Slobberers disease. Rory and his brother Howard are re-united with their father and the mould he is growing in the abandoned refinery proves to be a cure for Slobberers disease and death to the Slobberers - horrific huge worm creatures with slavering tongues that infect humans with what seems to be an incurable disease. The finding of Rory's dad leads the story to its happy ending - Dawn's dad and Rory's mum remarry and a happy family of four results. Howard too has a brighter future as, instead of returning to the children's home , he goes to live happily with his dad.
