Synopsis
This is the story of Jilly who is sure that dragons exist, even though everybody told her they are just make-believe in stories. One day she visits a magic shop where she gets a special packet of magic. The magic stirs the poster of a dragon in her bedroom, and a real dragon appears.

About the Author
Helen Cresswell (1924-2005) was born in Nottingham and educated there and at King's College, London. She began writing when she was seven and had over 70 books published. She won the Phoenix Award for THE NIGHT WATCHMAN and was runner-up for the Carnegie Medal four times. Many of Helen's books have been televised and she also adapted stories by Nesbit and Blyton for TV.
