Synopsis
This is an introduction, in the easiest possible language, to the architecture of computers and various peripherals which make up the every day environment of computer users and specialists. After a survey of basics, the book deals with the logic circuits which make up the machine, then moves onto the components of the system (disk, printers, screen) and ends up with an introduction to data networks. The reader can nevertheless study any chapter separately.
