This book is meant for both project managers and teachers.
I intended this book for both the manager of a small to medium sized IT project, as well as well as the teacher of a graduate or post graduate course. Although the examples and case studies in the book are about 5-10 person, 6-18 month projects, the methods described can be applied to projects of any size and any scope within the information technology industry. I have been complemented on the organization of the book, in that it covers a simple methodology, tools and techniques such as estimating and use of project management sofware, and how to manage people.
