From the Author

This book is meant for both project managers and teachers.
I intended this book for both the manager of a small to medium sized IT project, as well as well as the teacher of a graduate or post graduate course. Although the examples and case studies in the book are about 5-10 person, 6-18 month projects, the methods described can be applied to projects of any size and any scope within the information technology industry. One case study is used throughout the book, and examples of all project documents are included. An Instructor's Guide is available free by e-mail from the author john@rakos.com.
