Careful organization and task structuring sets the stage for successful project execution. Mastering Project Management Strategies and Processes shows you how to group and organize activities into processes that are easier to manage, prioritize, and control, and that can be used to accomplish objectives at multiple levels of the organization.

Seasoned project manager and professor Randal Wilson presents focused coverage of every task organization technique project managers should master. Teaching through relevant examples, Wilson introduces six models of project structure designed to accommodate the full spectrum of project objectives and characteristics.

You’ll learn how to shape project structure to reflect your organization’s pre-existing structure, how well-defined your final outputs are, and many other key factors. Drawing on extensive experience, Wilson illuminates subtle interactions between processes, helping you avoid problems and manage projects to maximize both their tactical and strategic value.

If you’re a working project manager or student who wants to improve your project organization skills, this guide brings together all the knowledge, experience, and insights you’ll need.
