About the Author

Andrew J. DuBrin is Professor Emeritus at the College of Business, Rochester Institute of Technology where he has taught organizational behavior, leadership and career management. His research interests include human relations and business psychology. His research has been reported in Entrepreneur, Psychology Today, the Wall Street Journal, Fortune Small Biz, and over 100 national magazines and local newspapers.

Terri Geerinck is a faculty member in the Interdisciplinary Studies Centre at Sir Sandford Fleming College. She teaches several courses including Introductory Psychology, Social Psychology, and Interpersonal and Group Dynamics. As part of a team, she has also delivered human relations training to business and industry with a particular emphasis on problem solving, interpersonal communication skills, and conflict management. Her teaching interests are instructional design, methodology, prior learning assessment, and course conversion to web-based formats. Before teaching at Sir Sandford Fleming, she held various consulting positions in several communities in Ontario. Terri Geerinck's formal education includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and sociology from Brock University and a master's degree in education from Central Michigan University.
