Volume 5, Trauma, covers trauma and trauma systems and includes current statistics, an updated discussion of trauma systems based upon the most recent American College of Surgeons Prehospital Trauma Triage Scheme, increased emphasis on trauma prevention, and the most recent research on mechanism of injury and its role in trauma triage.
