About the Author

Max Main has several years of experience in the computer and wireless industry. He has held senior management positions with Computer Sciences Corporation and Linkabit Corporation. He also served as Vice President of Marketing for California Microwave Defense Systems. He is the author, developer, and National Chairman of the Certified Network Systems Technician Program originally sponsored by the Texas Engineering Extension Service, a member of the Texas A&M University System.

He is a member of the faculty of Telecommunications Research Associates, where he specializes in teaching courses in wireless technology.
