I had to read Thinking for one of my Critical Thinking courses and this was the very first time that I actually enjoyed a required textbook! It had awesome ideas on language and thought, using your senses while writing and speaking, and finally the section which helped me was "Prep-Creation". Prepcreation simply means brainsorming ideas and possible topics, using prepositions between two or more of those ideas, to come up with a stream of thought. This exercise actually helped me to construct a complete and thoughtful article and I became Book Reviewer of the week. It was exciting to actually apply what I learned from Kirby & Goodpaster. I do hope they write more helpful texts like this one! Seller Inventory # 41225
