Introduction to Fire Prevention, 7/e
James C. Robertson
The prevention of unwanted fire has long been considered the responsibility of the modern-day fire department; however, other agencies and organizations play a vital part in educating the public about fire prevention. From the responsibilities of the fire department to the role of the private and public sectors, this best-selling text present a broad-based look at fire prevention including arson suppression, fire safety education, and code enforcement. The seventh edition has been updated to include the refinement of coverage of performance based codes, code change recommendations as a result of the tragic events of 9/11, fire safety research with continuing application, and a case study of a very successful fire safety program, all while meeting the FESHE curriculum learning objectives, with all new color photographs, and new key terms and objectives for each chapter.
