Dr. Nawy's work has been published in technical journals worldwide (over 160 technical papers). Dr. Nawy has published more than 170 papers in numerous technical journals worldwide. He is also the author of several books: Prestressed Concrete―A Fundamental Approach, Fourth Edition (Prentice Hall, 2003), Fundamentals of High Performance Concrete, Second Edition (John Wiley & Sons, 2000), and Concrete Construction Engineering Handbook (CRC Press, 1998). He has been the recipient of several major awards, including the Henry L. Kennedy Award of the ACI, the ACI Concrete Research Council Award, an honorary professorship with the Nanjing Institute of Technology, and is an Evaluator for the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET).
