Synopsis
The story of Project Pendulum, the first practical experiment in time travel. Twins Sean and Eric have been chosen as subjects: one will travel into the future with each swing of the pendulum and the other will travel back into time. Each must travel until they reach Time Ultimate. Robert Silverberg won the Hugo Award for science fiction in the United States and the Prix Apollo Award in France for his work "Nightwings".
