Norman Long mate describes the powerplay amongst the Nazis about this weapon and how British intelligence identified the true threat of this powerful ballistic missile. Hitler wanted to have 900 of these produced monthly. The mistakes made by those in power were to the benefit of the Allies. This engrossing history is a good, clean copy, without marks, with photographs, an index, list of contributors and sources as well as maps.
