About the Author

Dan Rahmel (Encinitas, CA) is a Windows pro-grammer with more than 14 years of experience designing and implementing information systems and deploying mid-sized client/server solutions using Visual Basic, ASP, C++, and Visual FoxPro. He has authored numerous books including both editions of Visual Basic 6 Programmer's Reference, Building Web Database Applications with Visual Studio, Teach Yourself Database Programming in 24 Hours, and Developing Client-Server Applications with Visual Basic. He is a contributor to DBMS, Internet Advisor, and American Programmer magazines.
