About the Author
He has taught electrical Engineering at the Undergaraduate and postgraduate levels for over 30 years . He has specialised in electric power and has had industrial experience in the electrial power feild in India and USA. He has been professor and Head of the Electrical Engineering Department, LD College of Engineering. Ahmedabad and college of Engineering, Pune. Professor Deshpande has also been Principal, College of Engineering, Amravati, for over 6 years and Director of Technical Education, Maharashtra state for 3 years. He was Director of Training, Maharashtra state for 2 years. He has published numerous papers in reputed journals in India and abroad. He was Chairmen, Electrical Engineering Divison, Institute of Engineers(India) for has represented India at World Power Confrences in Canada, Australia, Japan and USSR.
