More than 200 fully worked examples, solved using a consistent problem-solving methodology. Examples are given at the end of every section. Some of the problems are solved in two or three different ways to promote a comparison of different approaches.
A Practice Problem with an answer follows each Example problem, so that students can test their understanding before moving to the next section. This gives students an immediate opportunity to practice the solution methods without flipping pages or looking to the end of the book for the correct answer.
