About the Author

Mary Ann Suppes received her baccalaureate degree as well as her MSW degree in social work from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She is currently a professor of social work and director of the Social Work Program in the Department of Behavioral Science and Social Work at Mount Mary College in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She has been actively involved with the Council on Social Work Education as a member of the CSWE Accreditation Commission for many years, chairing numerous accreditation site visits and research committees. She currently serves on the Council on Social Work Education's Commission on Information Management and Research. Mary Ann Suppes is a member of the National Association of Social Workers and holds the ACSW. She has served on the boards of directors of the Association of Baccalaureate Social Work Program Directors and the Wisconsin Council on Social Work Education and remains actively engaged with both organizations. She is sought by many universities and colleges for curriculum consultation.
