About the Authors

Thomas M. Thomas II, is the founder of Netcerts.com, a leading training and education site for Cisco certification. He was previously a Course Developer for Cisco Systems and was a Group Leader of the Advanced Systems Solutions Engineering team for MCI's Managed Network Services. In his spare time, he has authored OSPF Network Design Solution and Thomas' Telecom and Networking Dictionary. He also likes to work with the Research Triangle Park, North Carolina chapter of the Cisco Professional Association Worldwide (www.ciscopaw.org). Tom is currently working as an Instructor/Consultant for Chesapeake Network Solutions (www.ccci.com).

Mark Newcomb (Spokane, WA) is currently an IS Operations Supervisor for a company that provides medical laboratory services throughout the Pacific.

Andrew Mason has 10 years experience in the networking industry and currently is consulting for Energis-Squared, the largest ISP in the UK. He is involved daily in the design and implementation of complex secure hosted solutions utilizing products from Check Point and Cisco Secure product range.
