About the Author

Jane Holcombe, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, MCT, MCSE, CNA, CTT+, is a pioneer in the field of PC training. She co-founded a Minnesota training company and has trained technical support personnel nationally for more than 20 years. Jane has developed numerous technical training courses, including one of the earliest PC operating system and hardware courses for support technicians. She is a past President of the Twin Cities PC User Group and has led general sessions at both local and national conferences.

Charles Holcombe, CompTIA A+, has been an independent trainer and consultant for the past 26 years. He has developed and delivered many training courses in addition to authoring several books.

Michael Pastore, MA, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, MCP, has been writing computer books for more than 15 years and has been involved in IT for more than 30 in roles spanning from network technician to president of an IT training school.
