Getting your R4.x certification is still worth it!
One of the questions I have been most asked about this book, being released so close to the release of Notes and Domino R5, is whether getting an R4.x certification in Notes is still worth the time and effort it takes.

My answer to this question is a resounding yes. You currently have a great deal of knowledge and depth on R4.x that you will not have (most of you) on R5 for quite some time. This is especially true considering how far in the future it will be before most environments implement R5.

I think it is in most Notes professionals' best interests to grab the certifications on R4.x while you can and do an upgrade to R5 certifications after reaching an R4.x CLP.

This book is especially geared towards all of the Notes professionals that have the knowledge and practical experience with R4 and want to focus their studying on the elements of the software that Lotus is testing.
