RAGHU RAMAKRISHNAN is a professor of computer science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His research interests are in the areas of database query languages, data integration, data mining, and interactive information visualization. He is the recipient of a Packard Foundation Fellowship in Science and Engineering and an NSF Presidential Young Investigator award. He has authored over 80 technical publications, and edited the database section of the Handbook of Computer Science (CRC Press) and the book Applications of Logic Databases (Kluwer).
