Before joining Seattle University, I was a professor of computer science at the University of New Hampshire and Oregon State University. I hold a Ph.D. in computer science from Washington State University, an M.S. in computer sciences from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a B.S. in mathematics from Gonzaga University. Before I became an administrator, I had an active research program in the area of parallel computing that resulted in the publication of more than 60 refereed journal and conference papers.
