This volume contains detailed solutions to the exercises of Professor Davenport's book, "Probability and Random Processes." The exercises are an integral part of that book (including a significant fraction of the key concepts and results) and the student is encouraged to work out all of them (with the possible exception of the supplementary exercises). the present solutions are intended to assist the student in this task. In many cases, the outlined approach to a problem is by no means the only one possible. An effort has been made, however, to use the most "intuitive" approach in each case and, in addition, to explain the significance of some of the results.
