Description of Lighting Section
The section on lighting is based on current recommended practices of the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America (IESNA). Technical information about lamps and luminaires, lighting calculation data and application-specific recommendations for lighting offices, schools, hospitals, industrial spaces, homes, and other spaces are presented.
About the Author
Donald Watson, FAIA, NCARB, is a well-known architect, author and educator and the editor-in-chief of Time-Saver Standards for Architectural Design Data, 7th Edition. He is Professor of Architecture and former Dean at the School of Architecture, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, NY.
