Thankfully, it was buried in the debris. Long forgotten . . . until it was accidentally freed. Now CheckMate has invaded every computer on Earth and is bent on fulfilling its dastardly plot. There's only one trio who can save the day: the First Cat in Space, the Moon Queen, and LOZ 4000. But when CheckMate zoops First Cat's spacesuit, our titular hero is now powerless. About the Authors
Mac Barnett is the ninth National Ambassador for Young People’s Literature. He is a New York Times-bestselling author of more than 60 books for children. His picture books include two Caldecott Honor–winning collaborations with Jon Klassen: Extra Yarn and Sam & Dave Dig a Hole. Mac lives in Oakland, California. His website is macbarnett.com.
Shawn Harris is an award-winning author and illustrator of books for kids.
